Maddie France-Ratcliffe (University of Manchester) met with the LEAG to gather feedback on a prototype of a digital tool she is developing.
The Equity Audit Tool will enable researchers to compare demographic characteristics (e.g. age, gender, ethnicity) of their research sample to population data to ensure their sample is representative of the people they intend to study. It will also enable researchers to identify under-represented groups, address recruitment biases, and improve future trial planning.
