Data

DATAMIND aims to provide a central, integrated data infrastructure with findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) mental health data. This is to both centralise and maximise the discoverability and uptake of the rich mental health data that exists across the four nations of the UK.

A collection of UK health data exists on HDRUK’s online searchable catalogue, the HDRUK Innovation Gateway. The Gateway provides meta-data giving a broad overview of its data, information on their data utility, and details on their technical features. Similarly, DATAMIND supports the Catalogue of Mental Health Measures, an online searchable catalogue of the mental health measures used in UK longitudinal and cohort studies. The Catalogue also provides a broad overview of its data, information on their data utility, but with a focus on measures at the item-level. Optimising the interoperability of the HDRUK Gateway and the Catalogue is a core activity of DATAMIND.
