Trends in ADHD, ASD, conduct disorder & learning difficulties in youth (2009-2020) using electronic health records

This report describes a comprehensive analysis of diagnosis, prescribing, contacts with services, self-harm, mortality and school attendance in children and young people with a record of ADHD, ASD, conduct disorder and learning difficulties using routinely collected health and education data.

We identify a number of areas of focus for policy makers and practitioners for this group. This ranges from self-harm services to Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision. This report further describes disparities ranging from prescribing to attendance at school through to mortality across sex and deprivation and highlights opportunities to improve equality in care.
