Following October’s successful NLP workshop, our 6th MQ & DATAMIND Early Career Researcher (ECR) Workshop returns with a focus on Unlocking Research Insights: Making better use of data sources for mental health research.
🔍 What to expect: This one-day event features two half-day workshops:
- Practical session on phenotypes from clinical data, led by Dr Katrina Davis ( KCL Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience / Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre)
- Maximising the use of existing survey data: facilitating cross-study research using retrospective harmonisation with Dr Eoin McElroy (Ulster University)
This workshop builds on our previous sessions in Python, data management, epidemiological methods, and machine learning — all of which are available online to catch up.
🎟 Discount available when you attend both this ECR Workshop and the MQ Data Science Meeting (1 May). A discount code will be sent to you after booking.
Lunch will be provided. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
Photo ID may be required for venue access.
Please note that approximately one hour of pre-learning videos will be shared with you once you have registering for the event. These will be shared at least one week before the workshop.
