Dara has a Master of Business Administration by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain), and is a qualified project manager and a member of the Association of Project Managers since 2017.

She accumulates over 10 years of business management experience in the private sector, the last 3 as Chief Operating Officer of a small medium business. She entered the higher education setting in 2018 as a project administrator at Swansea University Medical School. Still at Swansea University, she is now Project Manager in the Population, Psychiatry and Suicide Informatics group, where she manages a portfolio of projects (including DATAMIND) with a value of £5M.
