Prof Elvira Bramon is an academic psychiatrist and neuroscientist investigating the causes and treatments of psychosis and other mental health problems. She specialises in EEG biomarkers and in using genomics to inform the prescribing of psychotropic medications. Elvira is a consultant psychiatrist at the North London NHS Foundation Trust and the Director of the UCL Division of Psychiatry. She has supervised 14 PhD students and trained many scientists and clinicians. Her research is supported by fellowships and grants from MRC, Wellcome Trust, NIHR, B&BRF and other funders.
