Services and Infrastructure

At DATAMIND, we provide a range of services and tools to support anyone interested in using mental health data safely, responsibly, and effectively. Whether you're exploring opportunities, starting a project, or already working with data, we can help you find the right information, access secure environments, and make the most of available resources. This section introduces what we offer — from our Trusted Research Environment (TRE) and tools to expert advice, guidance, and practical support.

What We Offer

We recognise that industry partners often face unique challenges when working with health and mental health data. DATAMIND is here to help by offering support across several key areas:

Data Needs

We help identify relevant datasets, understand data quality and structure, and advise on how data can be used responsibly and effectively.

Access & Governance Needs

We support industry partners in navigating the approvals process, ethics, and governance frameworks needed to access data securely and legally – particularly through secure environments like our Trusted Research Environment (TRE). We also support partners in depositing data for use in future research.

Training Needs

We provide training, guidance, and resources to build confidence and skills in using mental health data, including responsible data use, methods, and best practices.

Partnership Opportunities

We help connect industry with academic researchers, lived experience groups, and wider networks – supporting collaboration around shared goals. We also promote engagement between individual researchers and industry to explore specific research ideas and challenges.
