Our Advisors
Each member of our advisory board brings deep expertise from clinical, academic, and technical disciplines. Their combined insights have shaped numerous research strategies, policy initiatives, and collaborative projects. By leveraging this wealth of experience, DATAMIND helps steer mental health data science in the right direction.
Mark specialises in the genomics of mood disorders (including depression and anxiety) and developing reproducible workflows for biomedical data analysis. He also has expertise in psychiatric genetics and quantitative genetics.
Director, UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration
Andy is an expert in Research Governance, Trusted Research Environments (TREs) and data linkage, focusing on developing inclusive and ethical data-sharing systems for longitudinal research studies.
Clinical Informatics Specialist
Matthew leads clinical informatics services, improving the use of electronic health records and data linkage to enhance mental health research through systems like the CRIS platform.

Robin is an expert in data linkage and longitudinal research, co-directing the UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration and supporting data-driven health research initiatives.

Richard leads AI innovation in healthcare, co-founding CogStack and developing RADAR-Base for patient-generated data, while focusing on ethical AI adoption and collaborations with NHS England.

Kathryn’s research focuses on women’s mental health and its influence on child and family outcomes using large data. She also uses infant neuroimaging to explore maternal effects on brain development . She is the Founder and Director of the Centre for Women’s Mental Health and GM. Digital and has led work on self-harm in prisons.
